Technical Support, Tier 1

Responsibilities

In this role, you utilize basic technical knowledge to support IT initiatives and provide first-level technical information systems support to customers, resolving routine technical problems.

  • Perform basic problem solving and assistance on various software applications and hardware systems.
  • Perform routine technical assistance and maintenance duties.
  • Performs routine technological systems support, maintenance, and testing for proper upkeep of systems; troubleshoots and resolves general system hardware, software, and network failures and conflicts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Good communication skills.
  • Good writing skills, attentive to details.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications.
  • Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of focus.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve basic computer problems.
  • Ability to determine computer problems and to coordinate hardware, software, and/or network solutions.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Dominican citizen with cedula or individual with valid work permit.
  • High school diploma.
  • Higher education and/or experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • +6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Able to work an assigned schedule that falls within our operating hours and flexibility around weekends and holidays, as all our clients are based outside the Dominican Republic.
